BCS Art Teacher

Profile

Bethel Christian School is seeking an Art teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creative arts, and be committed to educating and inspiring K-8th-grade students.
Responsibilities
Pastoring a classroom of students and leading them in their connection with God and others through creative arts.
Teach art classes to students in grade levels K-8
Plan and direct end-of-the-year art showcase.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student creativity and growth.
Provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents to the school and wider community.
Work collaboratively with other faculty and staff to support the school's mission and goals.
Attend school events and meetings as required
Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
Pay range : $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or experience in art or a related field.
Experience teaching art at the K-8 level.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Passion for art and creativity.
Ability to work effectively with students of all backgrounds and abilities.
