This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager to join a dynamic and varied organisation. UPSU is a not-for-profit, value led organisation which exists to represent the interests of the students studying with the University of Plymouth and support their wider student experience through extracurricular activity. The opportunity is ideal for an individual with a strong HR background and an excellent track record in building professional relationships across all levels of an organisation. You will enjoy developing and implementing innovative HR solutions within a diverse and fast paced working environment. You will be an excellent communicator with a strong customer focused approach, who can think laterally to adapt their professional HR knowledge and experience to the context of UPSU. You will respond flexibly and proactively to multiple and competing demands and be able to operate at both a strategic and operational level, with an appreciation of the highly sensitive and confidential nature of the work involved. You will have previous experience in an in-house HR role (generalist or specialist), experience of supporting the management and development of teams and be CiPD level 5 qualified (or willing to work towards).
