The Department of Philosophy at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. invites applications for a 1-year half-time, benefits eligible position at the rank of Lecturer to begin July 1, 2022. Teaching responsibilities for this position will include the following courses:
Incompleteness and Inconsistency
(addressing incompleteness results and paraconsistent logic)
Meaning and Truth
(is a philosophy of language/semantics of natural language course), and an introductory logic course
Candidates should have a strong foundation in logic and the philosophy of language. While a PhD is not required, candidacy for the PhD is expected by the time of appointment. Candidates from groups underrepresented in Philosophy are encouraged to apply.
