Career Coach
to provide comprehensive career coaching services, using a developmental approach, for students, alumni and prospective students. This is achieved through offering individual career coaching appointments, administering career-related assessments and interpretations, assisting with academic and career decision making, job search processes, interviewing assistance/mock interviews and presenting career-related workshops and specialized classroom presentations. A Career Coach builds and maintains working relationships with staff, faculty, and employers to develop and implement career readiness programs and initiatives to meet the needs of targeted student audiences. The Career Coach may assist in supervising student employees and graduate student interns.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Career Coaching
Use diverse career coaching and counseling techniques and a holistic approach to assist individuals in achieving life and career goals.
Delivery and interpretation of career-related assessments, and awareness of career coaching/counseling resources.
