Summary:
Are you interested in working for a top-ranked Management School which has achieved triple-crown accreditation from the three largest and most influential business school associations: AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS? With world-class facilities, ground-breaking research and cutting-edge thinking, we are seeking applications from ambitious, highly motivated and talented individuals who will be keen to play an active role in maintaining and enhancing the Management School’s international reputation for research, teaching excellence and innovation.
We are seeking a Research Associate to perform directed qualitative research and analysis in accordance with the objectives of a collaborative research project - “Creator Labour: Screen Production Cultures and Transmedia Intersectionality in Yorkshire” - funded by the Screen Industries Growth Network (SIGN).
This project is a collaborative effort between the Universities of Huddersfield and Sheffield, and its overall aim is to develop strategies and facilitate initiatives to support diversity and inclusivity in Yorkshire-based screen media that move beyond current failures of inclusion schemes by studying intersectional ‘content creators’ who use digital platforms for content generation and distribution outside legacy screen industries (such as vloggers, Youtubers, influencers, micro-celebrities, Grammers, etc.).
We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
