Associate Registrar of NCAA Compliance

(Student Services Manager I) in the Office of the Registrar. This is a full-time position with benefits.
The Associate Registrar of NCAA Compliance
is the certifying officer for and responsible for obtaining, evaluating and documenting the academic credentials for all student athletes participating in NCAA Division I sports at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. Individual should have a complete knowledge of NCAA regulations and is responsible for providing official certification of eligibility documentation to the Department of Athletics or Student Athlete Academic Services if needed. This individual promotes academic integrity as a priority in all aspects of certification and assists with information needed for sports and award nominations.
Duties include, but are not limited to: serve as the universities official certification officer and ensures university remains compliant with conference and NCAA rules and regulations; supervise the Assistant Director for Compliance regarding all NCAA student athlete certifications; monitor daily student athlete reports; conduct review of student athlete information in Compliance Assistant; create, distribute, review, compile and file the academic progress forms in correlation with Student Athlete Academic Services ensuring consistency and validity of information; maintain policies and procedure manual to ensure procedures are up to date with NCAA bylaws, legislation and regulations ; and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and experience with NCAA Division I athletic eligibility is required. An in-depth knowledge of NCAA constitutions, bylaws, legislation and regulations and familiarity with reporting APR and GSR reports to the NCAA is required. Direct experience with NCAA Academic performance programs is also required. Master's degree and experience with NCAA Compliance Assistance Software is preferred. Experience with Ellucian Colleague is preferred but not required. Experience writing programs used to evaluate student athlete academic performance is preferred but not required. Successful candidate should also possess in-depth knowledge of the NCAA Division I manual and regulations; the ability to keep abreast of changing NCAA rules and regulations; and experience using/writing reports in Informer.

Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. Some weekend work required (commencements, etc.).
