Job Summary:The Multi Clinic Administrator will oversee the management and daily administrative and technical support sections of the FMG medical clinics in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards. Partners with Director-Operations Clinic to support FMG initiatives and projects throughout their assigned region. Anticipate and plan for future changes. Make recommendations to improve customer service as appropriate. This position requires leadership to support clinics in all aspects of operations, business plan development, problem solving and change management. Individual will seek and initiate improvement within clinics and consult with clinic personnel to solve problems. Individual will also assist clinics in annual plans, budgets and meeting performance goals. Essential Duties:
Oversee clinical management staff; provides guidance in resolving operational issues and problems. May coordinate regional clinic management. Attend staff, clinic management, and committee meetings and participates in committees as requested. Keep Medical Director and Director-Operations Clinic abreast of clinic operations and special projects. .
Oversee the preparation and monitoring of all clinic budget, goals, and objectives taking into consideration input from clinic staff and management. Assists managers in developing corrective action plans and provides direction and accountability in monitoring progress toward defined targets. Make recommendations as needed.
Oversee the planning and development of clinical implementations of Franciscan Medical Group policies and procedures, as well as clinic-specific procedures and programs. These may include marketing, infection control and billing procedures and/or others to increase and maintain patient volume and satisfaction.
Oversee all aspects of clinic management including selection, training and staffing; ensures the effective development and implementation of benefit programs and HR policies and procedures.
Ensures the efficient operation and provision of high quality patient care and/or services through the sponsorship and review of recommendations for identification of performance improvement initiatives designed to analyze, measure, and improve the department/unit and/or region's performance.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies governing health care delivery by continually monitoring assigned region’s operations, programs, and facilities and initiating changes where required.
Understand, support, and implement the mission and goals of FMG and Catholic Health Initiatives to deliver health care to those in need in the performance of all job responsibilities. Build an understanding of these corporate goals throughout the assigned region.
Perform special clinic and network-wide projects to promote public and community relations. Serves as liaison between clinics and external agencies. Manages clinic transitions to or from FMG.
Responsible for employee performance management by completing performance appraisals and setting individual goals as outlined in policies and procedures. Utilize best practices for performance management including: rounding, performance management meetings and strength interviews. Oversee and facilitate regular staff and leadership meetings to discuss methods for improving customer service and efficient/safe operations. Inform staff and leadership members of any changes to policies and procedures.
Participates in professional development activities to keep current with health care trends and practices.
Perform similar and incidental duties as assigned.','!*!Education/Experience:
BA or BS in Health Administration, Nursing, or Business Administration; Masters in Health Administration, Nursing, or Business Administration preferred.
Experience as a clinic manager required; progressively responsible experience may substitute for educational requirements.
Minimum 8 years of experience in health care operations, including ambulatory and primary care clinics, multi-site management with experience in change, project management.
Minimum of five years supervisory or management experience.
License/Certification:
