ANTICIPATED KIDS WEST TEMPORARY SUMMER CHILD CARE PROVIDER

Temporary till August 12, 2022. Kids West is open from 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. This position will work will be scheduled between 5-6 hours each day. Kids West staff members needing a substitute call their own subs. Minimum age to work for Kids West is 16. Staff provide a positive, supportive, consistent and safe environment for the children. Must attend staff training and complete required online staff development trainings before being able to work. A current physical with a TB test is also required before being able to work. Other duties include preparing breakfast and snack, cleaning responsibilities such as washing tables, sweeping floors, taking out trash, etc. Must be prompt and dependable. Good communication skills are required as well as the ability to speak with parents, children and other staff members on a regular basis. Need to be able to follow safety rules and regulations and document any injuries or behavior concerns. We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic people who are able to be active and mobile.
Must have a pre-employment physical with TB test. Background check and fingerprinting done pre-employment. Online training requirements include Bloodborne Pathogens, Right to Know, Mandatory Reporter and Safe Schools. CPR/First Aid required. All training provided at beginning of employment.
