Job Description:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Integrated Marketing, with a dotted line to the Vice President for Enrollment Management (VPEM), the Director of Marketing for Enrollment Management (DMEM) is responsible for the communications, marketing, and branding activity for Assumption University's undergraduate and graduate enrollment outreach. Working collaboratively, the DMEM is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the marketing strategies across all communication platforms to multiple audiences in support of the mission of the University for the purpose of the recruitment of students. The DMEM will be a member of the Executive Marketing Council.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
This position is responsible for planning, developing and implementing a comprehensive and integrated marketing strategy to maximize outcomes in support of Assumption University's enrollment goals. Working in collaboration with the Enrollment Management team, academic, and administrative departments, the DMEM will streamline and maximize communications messaging across channels throughout the entire enrollment marketing process including advertising, website content, event marketing, digital outreach, drip campaign email messaging, and social media marketing. Essential to this role is an in-depth understanding of the enrollment communications process and the ability to facilitate the delivery of compelling messages to prospective students, parents, and influencers including guidance counselors and University advocates.
Develops, plans, and organizes branding and marketing for Enrollment Management that is aligned with the strategic plan, mission, and brand standards for the University;
Provides leadership, direction, advocacy, communication, and coordination of marketing initiatives for the division to achieve enrollment and retention goals;
Leads the development of a project management process;
Develops benchmarks to assess the performance of marketing and communications efforts and monitors the success of campaigns using analytics;
Create, manage, analyze, and present regular metrics reporting on enrollment marketing efforts;
Ensures brand language is incorporated in all enrollment communications;
Assists in the development of market research plans;
Provides awareness and insight on emerging trends;
Member of the division's Recruitment Strategy Team;
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university required;
Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption University;
COVID Vaccine and Booster required;
In-depth understanding of the enrollment communications process;
Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills;
Demonstrated ability to articulate mission through marketing and communication strategies, including traditional and digital marketing channels to prospective students, parents, and guidance counselors;
Understanding of the creative process and technologies, along with the ability to manage external creative resources;
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across divisions;
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to gain consensus within cross-functional teams;
Supervisory experience with success in motivating, mentoring and inspiring others;
Recommended a minimum of five years of experience with a proven record of success in enrollment marketing and brand management;
