Suffolk University seeks a historian able to teach 19th- and/or 20th century America with a focus on Latino/Latina history.u00A0 The successful candidate will be able to create curriculum synergies between different disciplines in the History, Languages, and Global Culture Department to support Suffolku2019s Global mission, particularly its campus in Madrid and its developing connections in the Boston areau2019s Latino and Latina communities.u00A0 u00A0Focuses on issues of race, land-ownership, and citizenship are also desirable.u00A0 u00A0The successful candidate will have teaching experience and ability to promote interdisciplinarity, the intellectual and professional development of Suffolk University undergraduates, and campus/community exchanges that support the sustainability of Boston and statewide community organizations and institutions.u00A0u00A0Requirements are a Ph.D. in History, teaching experience preferred.u00A0u00A0
