JOB OVERVIEW
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Blue Ash College invites applications for a twelve-month, non-tenure track Educator position in the Allied Health Department to begin August 15, 2022. UC Blue Ash is a regional college with an enrollment of approximately 4,500 students and more than 250 employees. It is located on a scenic, 135-acre wooded campus in the heart of Blue Ash, Ohio. The college is a recipient of the Cincinnati Business Courier 2021 Best Places to Work award.
Educator faculty responsibilities include teaching courses in a variety of formats (face-to-face, on-line, and/or hybrid) within the associate degree of Radiologic Technology program, bachelor's degree of Radiation Science Technology program and bachelor's degree of Applied Administration Healthcare Leadership track, and other courses within the Allied Health Department; participating in recruitment, academic advising, program resource development, and other program, department, college, and university functions. Candidate will also be expected to provide service to the department, college, and university and demonstrate evidence of professional activity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Frequent communications, verbal and written. *Amenable to working with diverse populations. *Comfort with learning new technology. *Using math/calculations. *Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess. *Must have reliable transportation to clinical sites throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*Current certification and registration with the ARRT as a radiographer and current or ability to obtain an Ohio Radiologic License. *A minimum of an associate degree in radiography. *A completed master's degree in Education, Health Administration, Health Promotion, Radiologic Science or related field prior to the effective date of appointment. *One year teaching experience in the classroom, clinical, and/or laboratory settings. *Experience working with digital imaging technology within the past three years. *Proficiency in English and excellent information literacy/computer skills.
