Special Projects Manager
. Working under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Admissions for Evaluations, the individual assigned to this position will be responsible for organizing, leading and implementing specifically identified projects aimed at enhancing areas of improvement for the enterprise of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (UM).
Responsibilities associated with this position include management and oversight of complex projects specifically developed in support of the overarching goals and objectives of the Evaluations Office and Admissions Department (including human and financial resources dedicated as a part of said projects); and effectively executing initiatives expressly aimed at increasing new student enrollment. This will require strategic planning, as well as the ability to develop both short- and long-term goals aimed at achieving measurable project outcomes. The employee assigned to this role will work closely with the enrollment and marketing leads to provide direct support of strategic initiatives. The individual in this position will also collaborate with key stakeholders all stages of the analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation process.

Position Details
Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, Letter of Appointment and includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package

Salary for this position is $40,000-45,000 per year commensurate with qualifications.

Ability to represent Admissions Department and Evaluations as a member of intra-campus work groups
Ability to participate in regional and national professional association conversations about evaluations and credit transfer
Knowledge of student advising practices and processes
Ability to develop and lead training
Skill in developing project documentation
Ability to manage implementation and operation of transfer-related projects involving multiple UM teams
Post-Training Position Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of curricular and co-curricular student experience at UM
Strong gasp of enrollment data specific to UM
Proficient in Slate CRM
Ability to build and run reports in Banner
Knowledge of Transfer Evaluation System (TES) at the administrator level
Expert knowledge of the UM Catalog, program descriptions, and general education requirements
Preferred Qualifications
The individual assigned to this position should possess, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in a related field, as well as at least two (2) years directly related professional work experience or any combination of experience and education that would provide the competencies required to successfully discharge the essential duties assigned to this role.
