Description
Scarborough Public Schools is seeking a student-centered, organized and flexible, collaborative school resource librarian to join our dedicated and professional team. The K-5 Resource Librarian coordinates and provides programming at the three K-2 schools as well as the Wentworth School with students in grades 3-5. They will oversee a team of 6 Library Educational Technicians that assist in providing robust Learning Commons resources and programming. In addition, they will join a K-12 team of two resource librarians led by the District-wide Librarian.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in school library-media/information services or a Master's Degree in Educational Technology or the equivalent preferred
Experience in elementary education
Experience with a variety of informational and instructional technologies (i.e., databases, Google for Education, etc.)
Knowledge of curriculum development and integration
Leadership experience preferred
Educational Specialist Certificate (K-12) - 071 - Library/Media Specialist
