A full time VISITING SCHOLAR position is available in the laboratory of Danny T.Y. Wu, PhD in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. College of Medicine. This position supports the UC's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all of our activities. In particular, the Visiting Scholar will join the Innovative Clinical Data Capture and Use (iCDCU) Lab directed by Dr. Wu. The Visiting Scholar will co-mentor master-level design students in the Wu lab and conduct design research in the field of clinical and health informatics. The selected candidate is expected to visit Cincinnati in person in the summer of 2022.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Advise lab students *Conduct design research projects *Seek collaborations by joining meetings and giving talks *Draft/review manuscripts and proposals
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

Appropriate academic degree related to department specifications and prior academic experience.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*Doctoral degree in design science, human-computer interaction, or related fields; had a formal academic (PhD or post-doc) training in the United States. *Prior experience in clinical and/or health informatics research.
