The Communication and Digital Arts Department is currently seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach ARTT-120 Three Dimensional Modeling and Animation, which introduces first year students to the concepts of 2D/3D computer animation.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Experienced 3D animator with a strong understanding of next-gen animation development processes, limitations and dependencies including motion-capture, key-framed, dynamic and physics-based movement. Qualified candidates must be able to teach storyboard development, project organization, traditional concepts of animation, theories of human vision, color, lighting and motion, file formats, and computer hardware/software requirements. The class is taught on Autodesk 3ds Max. Previous college teaching experience preferred.

Time-management and organizational skills
Excellent knowledge of Autodesk 3ds Max and other animation packages
Experience with animation pipelines and procedural solutions
Required Experience:
Possesses a minimum of three (3) years of occupational (i.e., practical) experience in the subject field in which they teach.
Working knowledge of Autodesk 3ds Max software experience required
Candidate will be required to submit a resume and/or curriculum vitae.
Recommended Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with 18 credit hours of coursework in Game Design or a related field from an accredited institution.
