Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
Must possess above average skills in filing and computer operations. Computer experience to include Windows and Microsoft Office. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must demonstrate good communication skills, deal effectively with RichmondCC staff and the general public, and handle confidential information in a professional manner. Understanding of and commitment to the unique nature and role of the College in our service area.
Minimum Education and Experience: 
Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Three years of applicable work experience preferred. Datatel, Destiny One or other course management system experience preferred.
Position Description
General Description:
Under the supervision of the Dean of Corporate and Continuing Education and the authority of the Vice President for Instruction, the Continuing Education (CE) Programming Specialist will provide administrative assistance and support for all CE Directors of Programming.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
Provide administrative support for all CE Directors of Programming including data entry, instructor contract documentation, and other tasks as required for class building and reporting in college’s course management systems (Colleague and Destiny One).
Responsible for entering current offerings of fire classes into OSFM database and uploading rosters and grades at the conclusion of the classes.
Manage all documentation to ensure accuracy of monthly payroll.
Prepare class start packets as required.
Assist students with registration of CE classes.
Responsible for receiving registration and class fees as applicable. Submit monies to either the business office or appropriate CE Director of Programming in compliance with RichmondCC business office procedures for receiving and depositing monies.
Responsible for entering students’ ELDT (entry level drivers training) information into the FMCSA database.
Responsible for entering student information into the Safety and Health Council of NC database and printing student certificates upon completion. 
Maintain an updated file for all CE classes including any applicable discounts.
Assist with orientation and graduation for any applicable CE course.
Assist CE Directors of Programming with marketing materials, HelpDesk tickets, submitting information to appropriate RichmondCC employee, ensuring website is up to date to include campus calendar and other relevant items.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of RichmondCC by creating and implementing ways to support the continuous growth and sustainability of the College and through committee participation.
Work with third party organizations including, but not limited to, WIOA and the RichmondCC Foundation to help students obtain funding for CE courses.
Notify students registered for professional licensure programs of possible State limitations and document disclosure notification in the student record.
Accepts other duties as assigned.
