The Centre for Business in Society (CBiS) is a research hub for the Faculty of Business and Law at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. Through understanding the impact of organisations’ activities, behaviours and policies, our research promotes responsibility and inclusion, seeking better outcomes for economies, environments, societies and the individual (****There are four research clusters within CBiS, exploring (a) sustainability within supply chains, the circular economy and ethical consumption, (b) data in organisations and society; covering big data, the digital economy, cyber resilience, data privacy and strategic decision-making; (c) economic development; including entrepreneurship, inclusive growth, workplace practice, urban renewal and regeneration, and the support of disadvantaged communities; and (d) responsible personal finance, savings and investments, FDI and economic exchanges.
CBiS requires an expert in quantitative analysis able to work on projects with a social science perspective, to support complex statistical analysis and modelling on a number or projects. We are not seeking a generalist. The post is suitable for someone with a background in statistical analysis, data analysis, mathematical modelling or economic data analysis. The post-holder will support the work of CBiS’s researchers across all four research clusters, on projects where advanced quantitative and statistical skills are required. The post-holder will also be supported in undertaking their own research. This is a Grade 7 Research Fellow permanent post.
