**In this position you will:**
Administer academic assessment to students ont the unit and make recommendations for summer school courses. Determine most appropriate educational plan for each student.
Implement summer school courses that are appropriate for each student.Plan, monitor and supervise daily school time, assisting them in developing positive coping skills for the academic environment.
Provide input to the team, which will be helpful in the treatment plan for the student. Plan, monitor and supervise daily school time, assisting them in developing positive coping skills for the academic environment.
Implement care/services that recognize age/diversity specific needs/issues of customers served.
**Qualifications:**
**Required qualifications for this position include:**
Teaching Certificate from State of Alaska - Certified Secondary
**Preferred qualification for this position include:**
Bachelor's degree major or minor in Special Education.
2 years teaching experience
