Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) English, Multi-Tiered Support System
Description
Assist school(s) in developing programs, systems, and data analysis processes that support and engage district and site personnel in reflective and responsive after practice for purposes of academic growth and intervention. In particular, the English, Multi-Tiered Support System TOSA will specialize in assisting in the fulfillment of established state and federal requirements.



Requirements

Credentials
● Valid California teaching credential

● Minimum of four (4) years successful classroom teaching experience

● Flexibility in work hours



Education and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution

● Master’s Degree preferred

● Experience teaching and supporting English learners, at risk/struggling learners, gifted learners

● Using technology to analyze data and report patterns and trends

● Prior job related classroom or student teaching experience with increasing levels of responsibilities in school setting is highly desirable

● Bilingual English / Spanish skills desirable
