As the Assistant Preschool Director, job duties include but are not limited to: supporting and coaching the staff, offering premium customer service for the parents/families, ensuring the highest quality of care to the children in our center, enrolling new children, offering support to the director wherever needed, and being a positive leader with a heart-centered approach.
Additional responsibilities include:
Maintaining the highest quality of care, safety and well-being of all children, staff, and families
Demonstrating verbally and by role modeling a sound knowledge of child growth and development
Helping to schedule a fully-staffed center and maintain appropriate student-to-teacher ratios
Actively contributing in staff meetings and ongoing trainings
Providing families with optimal customer service
Other duties as assigned by Director
Compensation: $25-30/hr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.
Requirements
B.A. or A.A, or equivalent experience, with at least 12 ECE Units required
3 years of early childhood teaching experience required
1 year of educational leadership experience preferred
Must take initiative and have a take charge attitude in a fast-paced environment
Be able to multitask
Communicate effectively with emotional intelligence
A love and passion for working with young children
An eagerness to learn and grow!
