Position Summary
This position is a Full-stack Developer with experience in PHP, web application development and expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as Bootstrap, jQuery, SASS, etc. This role will be integral in developing web applications, data solutions and visualizations to further the goals of the Foundation and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..
Responsibilities
Develop mobile friendly web solutions to address USF Foundation and Advancement operations' needs, developed to meet user specifications, using HTML/CSS, PHP 8 .
Consult with users to identify and document requirements using DFDs, UMLs, mind maps, etc., and evaluate specifications and requirements against available systems and functionality.
Lead and/or assist in the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and integration in the CRM system using SSRS and dashboards.
Assist in developing custom workflows
Be a champion for new web technologies for wider adoption within the department.
Pioneer server and virtualization strategies to best leverage the new web technologies.
Create graphic and spatial visualizations to enhance understanding of critical business performance.
Provide ad-hoc support to critical web-related business functions and legacy USF
Foundation web applications in a timely manner.
Work with users to test and debug programs written in Visual Basic, and C#(.NET).
Write on-going documentation and provide user support in the usage of the software application.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or other field involving software and analytical training, and four years of IT related work experience, OR a Bachelor's degree with no specific required field and five years of IT related work experience, OR a Master's degree and three years of IT related work experience, OR a combination of eight years of IT related work experience and validated training. Preparation for a relevant IT certification is considered to be related training.
PREFERRED
Experience with Concrete5 CMS is a major plus. Experience with API, web services REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints. Experience with XRM Toolbox. Experience in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 and third-party libraries such as Bootstrap 3/4/5, jQuery, and SASS. Experience working with Apache with a solid background in Linux. Knowledge of object-oriented programming in PHP (framework independent).
