Profile

: Hartt Community School Suzuki Program is one of the leading Suzuki programs in the country. HCS offers Suzuki lessons on all string instruments, piano, and flute. Our Suzuki Piano program has 100 students, ages 4 to 18. Join our group of dedicated teachers and families!
Duties
: Individual Suzuki & traditional piano lessons for students of varying ages and levels. Includes monthly piano group classes (Saturdays) and 2-4 recitals per school year. Our calendar consists of 34 weeks and optional summer teaching.
Qualifications
: Bachelor’s Degree in Music and SAA registered training in piano, volumes 1-2 and prior teaching experience in group lessons preffered. Must love children, foster love of learning, be flexible and organized, be an excellent communicator, and share our commitment to equality.
Salary
: Hourly wage determined by education and experience.There is a possibility of a full time position in the future for a candidate who shows promise and commitment.
