Suzuki Cello/Piano/Suzuki Early Childhood Education Teachers part-time

Profile

: Brooklyn Conservatory of Music seeks part-time Suzuki faculty in piano, cello and SECE. Students are required to attend weekly group and theory classes in addition to their weekly private lessons. Parents attend 15 hours of parent training, and the first six weeks of classes without children.
Duties
: Teach private lessons, groups, and/or SECE. Enthusiasm to teach theory and/or Music Mind Games. Plan curricula, prepare students for performances, attend meetings, help run student events. Commitment to dismantling racism within western classical music, skill teaching different learning styles.
Qualifications
: Bachelor of Music or similar and Units 1 – 4 or more registered with the SAA; SPA and Practicum a plus; however, the best candidate may not yet have all qualifications. Skill teaching groups and very young children, attention to detail, warmth, and ability to work with learning differences.
Salary
