ABOUT THE CARL H. LINDNER COLLEGE OF BUSINESS
The Carl H. Lindner College of Business Office of Inclusive Excellence is currently accepting applications for Program Coordinator.  The Office of Inclusive Excellence is dedicated to promoting a culture of belonging in Lindner and to supporting students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.  Additionally, the office engages all members of the Lindner community in promoting the values of inclusive leadership. 

JOB OVERVIEW
Approximately 60% of students in Lindner enter the College by way of transition and transfer. The Lindner Office of Inclusive Excellence is seeking a Program Coordinator to focus on increasing access to historically underrepresented transition and transfer students.  The Program Coordinator will support students on their path to Lindner through cohort building and the creation of dynamic, uplifting programming and connections.  The Program Coordinator will assist students of diverse backgrounds in fostering a strong sense of self and community and support their aspirations of transitioning or transferring to Lindner.  Special emphasis will be focused on students transitioning from UC Blue Ash College.  This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence. 

 

The Program Coordinator will collaborate with members of Lindner's Academic Advising team as well as Lindner's Admission team.  Additionally, the Program Coordinator will work closely with UC Blue Ash College advisors, success coaches, and business faculty.

 

The Program Coordinator will also lead the planning and implementation of the Lindner Summer Institute, the College's signature pre-college engagement program for diverse high school students interested in pursuing a business education.  

 

Finally, the Program Coordinator will serve as an ex-officio member of the Lindner Inclusive Excellence Council.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Design/create and conduct seminars, classes, workshops or programs. *Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement. *Provide financial administrative support for program initiatives. *Develop, administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports. *Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit students and program participants. *Interact with staff faculty, external agencies and other university departments. *May conduct research and analyze relevant literature, other benchmark information to develop grant proposals, new program ideas and propose program changes. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
*Bachelor's Degree. *Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of program coordination experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
*Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
