Job/Department Summary:
Working under supervision, oversees and performs comprehensive support services for the Archaeology/Zooarchaeology Lab including coordinating and providing equipment, materials, supplies and related technical support to faculty, researchers, interns, graduate students and a variety of upper and lower division laboratory courses. Also assists with performing support for the Conservation Lab, and works with the Human Identification Lab when required.
Mandatory Vaccinations:
The CSU requires faculty, staff, and students who are accessing campus facilities to be immunized against COVID-19 or have received a medical or religious exemption. Selected candidates should be prepared to comply with this requirement.
Preferences:
Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:
A BA or higher in Anthropology.
Work experience in archaeological laboratories, field experience, or curation facilities.
Bilingual.
Required Education and Experience:
Equivalent to two years of experience providing instructional support services for a related unit or discipline, and
involving such activities as preparing, producing, dispensing or storing materials, supplies and equipment.
OR
Equivalent to two years of college with 16 semester units in courses involving extensive use of materials,
supplies, or equipment and in a discipline related to the area to which assigned may be substituted for one
year of the required experience.
OR
Equivalent to four years of college with 16 semester units in courses involving extensive use of materials supplies, or equipment and in a discipline related to the area which assigned may be substituted for one year of required experience.

Salary and Benefits Information:
$1,782.50 - $3,093.50 per month / $21,390.00 - $37,122.00 per year (New employees should anticipate being hired at the beginning of the salary range)
