is seeking to fill a tenure-track position in Management at the assistant or associate professor level, with a fall 2022 start date. Applicants will be expected to teach at both undergraduate and master’s levels, maintain an active research agenda, and engage in professional and service activities.
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Management or Business (with a management or strategy major/emphasis) from a school accredited by AACSB International prior to the starting date of employment.
Demonstrated potential to publish or recent peer-reviewed journal publications in fields of expertise and an active, ongoing research agenda.
Teaching experience or interest in strategic management/strategy
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching quality demonstrated by recent teaching evaluations and/or awards.
Teaching experience or interest entrepreneurship or operations
Demonstrated commitment to serving the needs of diverse students (e.g., Native Americans, first generation college students, non-traditional aged students, military veterans).
Relevant business work experience
Demonstrated ability to engage the business community
Appointment to the rank of associate professor requires research publications and years of teaching service at an AACSB accredited institution commensurate with the rank of associate professor. Salary is dependent on qualifications and is comparable with peer universities in the region.

The UM Management programs consist of a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Business Administration. The management faculty take a collaborative and responsive approach to supporting the success of our students, including mentoring students via student clubs and extra-curricular activities.
