Description
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Western Division of Education welcomes applicants for an Instructor/Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track) of Early Childhood Education. Primary responsibilities will include teaching experientially based courses related to foundations of early childhood education, including but not limited to, professionalism, positive guidance, early childhood curriculum, and early numeracy. Courses will be taught in a face-to-face, block format, which means teaching one class at a time, three hours a day, for 18 days. This is a short-term (January through May) vacancy contingent upon funding, and it could be renewed as an annual, 10-month contract for the foreseeable future.

Requirements
The successful candidate will:
hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
have demonstrated the ability to work well as a member of a team
have taught for three or more years in an early childhood setting (PK-3
rd
grade)
Preferred
The successful candidate may:
have demonstrated success teaching in face-to-face courses at the post-secondary level
have experience working specifically with preschool aged children
hold a master’s/doctoral degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
