We have two exciting opportunities that have arisen within the Skills Centre at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. The Mathematics Resources Centre (MASH) is looking for two MASH Teaching Fellows to join a team supporting and enhancing access, success and progression in mathematical and quantitative subjects for all students, including those from widening participation groups. 
These roles are both part time positions of 3.65 hours per week on an open ended (permanent) basis.
We are looking for someone with the knowledge and skills to: 
support students with quantitative skills, mathematics or statistics in drop-ins, tutorials and workshops
be part of an enthusiastic team building high-quality maths, statistics and quantitative support, revision and student-centred learning experiences 
Learn and use technology enhanced learning (TEL) to provide maths support 
MASH provides high-quality maths and statistics support to all members of the university. We are a flagship for academic skills support in the university, and are highly regarded at the national level where we contribute significantly to the work of the sigma Network.
As part of the MASH team, through the continual review and improvement of our services, help us meet the needs of all our students! 
Where several part time roles are being advertised by MASH, concurrent applications are welcome, from suitably qualified candidates, with the possibility of being appointed to more than one role.
About you
As a graduate with a good degree in the mathematical sciences or in a programme with high mathematical content your expertise and experience will include:
Knowledge of the quantitative, statistical and mathematical content used across subject areas at degree level
Exploring and responding in problem-solving situations
Through your experiences of teaching maths to a variety of groups, including within a team, you will be able to demonstrate your ability and commitment to providing maths support and your empathy with students who are experiencing barriers to learning. You may have particular knowledge and experience of using technology to support learning or the technical skills to learn to do so.
A curiosity about engaging with the wider mathematics support community, for example through sigma, is beneficial.
