Helena College is seeking qualified applicants who wish to become part of a dynamic and creative team for a full-time position as an Instructional Designer & Technology Specialist.
This position serves as an Instructional Designer & Technology Specialist (IDTS) and is a key member of the eLearning & Faculty Development team. This position reports to Director of eLearning & Faculty Development. The primary responsibility of the IDTS and the eLearning team is to assist and support instructors in developing courses in all delivery formats, and to assist instructors in incorporating educational technologies in teaching and learning across Helena College (HC) and beyond. Additional responsibilities include working with and supporting the Director of eLearning & Faculty Development to provide professional development opportunities and trainings related to online, blended, and hyflex teaching and learning to faculty, staff, and students. The person occupying this role must have a strong commitment to creating a vibrant and welcoming culture that recognizes, values and respects diversity.
Duties and Responsibilities
Works autonomously with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s learning needs to create engaging and accessible learning activities and course content that enhance the learning experience.
