General Description of Position:
Responsible for maintaining inventory and distribution and maintenance of laboratory equipment. This included equipment for all engineering programs including, but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, and engineering technology.
Major Responsibilities:
• Provide maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain inventory.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of laboratories and equipment.
• Establish and maintain filing and record keeping system for laboratory equipment records as is standardized in industry.
• The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and parts is necessary. Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with a minimum amount of supervision.
