Description:
The Student Recruitment and Admissions department is a dynamic, thriving and crucial area of the University with periods throughout the year of high intensity. An enthusiastic and proactive individual is required to join the Faculty Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions team for either the Faculty of Health or the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Under the direction of the Faculty Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions Team Leader and as a member of the Student Recruitment and Admissions team within External Relations, you will contribute to the delivery of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient support service. You will support the Senior Manager management team in Student Recruitment and Admissions and the Faculty Deans, Heads of Schools, Faculty Business Management and the appropriate Faculty staff to deliver an effective recruitment strategy for the Faculty. You will work across the External Relations teams to ensure the Faculty is supported in delivering key profile raising activities, also, as part of the broader team to develop marketing materials for the Faculty. You will contribute to the production of marketing material (including the University’s web pages) to influence potential students in making a well-informed choice of university and course. You will work on a number of student recruitment activities including advertising, e-marketing and customer relationship management (CRM), while developing and maintaining a breadth of skills to support flexible deployment as required. Provides excellent customer service and provides proactive detailed advice and guidance to enable appropriate solutions Flexible to represent the Faculty in key outreach and recruitment events – this can include evenings and weekends Ability to work collaboratively across teams to exchange and achieve joint projects and objectives Please demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria outlined in the knowledge, qualifications, training and experience elements of the job description in your supporting statement.
