This position is based in a drop-in center for youth ages 14-24 from diverse backgrounds and experiences. We are in need of a dynamic individual that is passionate about working with this age group and hard to serve individuals. The Academic coordinator is our bridge between The Harbour Youth Center, the local middle/high schools and community partners. This individual would be the person on the ground to engage youth, educate the schools on the resources available to youth and create programming that excites our students. The Academic Coordinator works on a cohesive, integrated team with case managers, clinical supports, support services money and strong leadership at their disposal. The goal of the team is to meet our clients where they are, provide strong skill-based learning and employ barrier removal where necessary for their self-sufficiency and overall success.
