The Education Directorate at the RCP is well known, nationally and internationally, for the development and delivery of high-quality education, training and examinations that support the development of physicians and the wider workforce. We are looking for proactive, innovative, solutions-focused people to join the team in two complementary senior roles. This is an opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and shape our multifaceted and impactful education. You will join us at an exciting time, having recently moved into our state-of-the-art online and face-to-face educational facilities at The Spine in Liverpool’s Paddington Village development.
Key responsibilities include:
This role will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to support the development of postgraduate clinical curricula; credentials for clinicians which support national workforce needs; design and deliver pilot projects or programmes of strategic importance to the RCP and national or international commissioning bodies; prepare for successful handover of evaluated and refined pilot activity to business as usual for commissioners, partners, or the RCP education portfolio. You will earn the trust and respect of stakeholders, clients and colleagues as an expert educationalist, curriculum developer and adviser; developing and providing contextually appropriate advice, resources and training, which address the RCP’s charitable mission, the needs of its members and the need for commercially successful activity to provide financial sustainability. You will work in partnership with colleagues with complementary expertise to secure funding for projects and programmes, and you will ensure high quality delivery on time and in budget. You will also contribute to the delivery of our multifaceted education portfolio through, for example: facilitating and tutoring (both virtually and face-to-face); assessment and evaluation; and providing educational and subject-specific expertise.

knowledge of postgraduate medical curriculum frameworks and approaches
track record of delivering high profile educational projects, including experience of developing successful bids for educational tenders and commissions
experience in the full life cycle development of postgraduate level curricula for professionals
experience of working with high-profile stakeholders and professionals
an excellent teacher, facilitator and developer of learning
experienced in the development of educational programmes and resources to meet the needs of learners, including online and blended approaches
excellent interpersonal and communication skills
proactive and problem solving
able to form effective working relationships with a diverse range of staff, volunteers and stakeholders
