The University of Colorado Boulder Athletics Department
encourages applications for a Video/Design Creative Content Assistant
. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Colorado Football
staff with video production related to social media, recruiting, internal, external and in-game needs. This role will occasionally support with graphic design, photography, and motion graphics and will work with the Creative Director and Football Creative Services Manager to follow all branding standards, styles and designs. From a job flow perspective, this position will work directly with the Creative Services Manager and other various football staff members to optimally complete a wide range of requests ensuring a consistent identity and tone. This position may also support in the creation of content and graphics for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives
This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department's Mission Statement, Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Pac-12 Conference and the NCAA.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Video Production:
Work closely with the Creative Services Manager and football recruiting staff to plan, coordinate, and complete a variety of football specific video projects to be used for program recruiting and fan engagement. Required skills will consist of a high-level background in cinematography and editing. These projects will include, but not be limited to: recruiting visits, game day (home and away), practices, etc.
Motion and Graphic Design:
Plan, coordinate and complete a variety of football specific Static and Motion Graphics to be used for program development and recruiting.
Brand Management:
Ensure that all athletic department designed materials adhere to established department brand guidelines and current themes. Serve as a department resource for all questions related to design execution related to our brand guidelines.
File Management:
Use our CMS (Content Management System - Trello.com) to coordinate, prioritize and track workflow. Maintain an organized job database on a local server.

What We Can Offer
The salary range is $48,000- $60,000 annually.
Additional Compensation Details: Relocation is available within department guidelines.

What We Require
Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or equivalent.
Minimum of one year of directly related video and graphics experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
Workday flexibility will be required as games and recruiting events often occur on weekends and/or after traditional work hours. This position may require travel to away games with the team.
What You Will Need
High proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other applicable Adobe design programs.
High proficiency in Video Production.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Ability to succeed in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
What We Would Like You To Have
Two years experience in sports video and graphics.
General football knowledge as it pertains to positions, verbiage, history, scheduling, etc.
Sports specific digital design experience.
