Suffolk Universityu2019s Sawyer Business School is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor to join us in our collegial and dynamic Organizational Behavior (OB) group that is part of the Management and Entrepreneurship Department. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality research and teaching and have a focus in the area of change leadership. This position requires a completed Ph.D. in OB or relevant field or ABD and a proven track record in organizational behavior research and teaching. u00A0The Management and Entrepreneurship Department consists of 16 full-time, high-quality scholars and teachers. Our faculty members have experience publishing in top-tier journals such as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, and Organization Studies. Our commitment to research is further evidenced by the availability of internal grants and benefits afforded to faculty research initiatives. u00A0Teaching is also an integral part of this position. The course load is six classes during the academic year with a typical average of 30 students per class. Courses may be undergraduate and/or graduate level and could be offered daytime, evenings, weekends, and online. We offer courses in the following areas: managing across differences, leadership, leading change, creativity and innovation, negotiation, human resource management, and a senior project capstone course. We offer a Master in Management and Organizational Leadership. In addition, our faculty members offer courses within the core MBA program and OB concentration as well as the Executive MBA program.
