Job Description
Manage all elements of community engagement initiatives and outreach to promote the university image and emphasize academic quality, research advancements and to foster community partnerships to attain regional, national and international visibility for the University.

Considerable knowledge of public relations principles and practices to include promotion efforts on social media platforms.Working knowledge of computer software such as MS Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to organize and maintain accurate records to include fiscal and database management.Demonstrated ability to serve as a liaison with diverse clients and companies to develop strong business partnerships.
Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse publics and community groups and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to coordinate and supervise events and outreach activities, ranging from small cultivation events to large university-wide lectures, conferences and symposia.

Considerable experience in public relations, event planning and project management.
