Description:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic manager to join the University’s Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business Professional Services team. You will provide leadership and oversight to a team dedicated to supporting the Plymouth Intsitute of Education enabling our next generation of student teachers. You will be responsible for the management of the administrative policies and processes across this team and be responsible for statutory returns to the DfE (Department for Education) and ensuring compliance with DfE and OFSTED regulation for Teacher Trainees. In addition, you will lead on the management and co-ordination of Faculty data provision. You will be an accomplished manager with the ability to work in an ever-changing busy environment. You will work in partnership with academic colleagues to ensure delivery of an efficient and supportive service to students and school partners. You will also be part of the Faculty senior administration management team working together to lead on strategic planning and staff development. Strong planning and organisation skills, to ensure effective workload management across the team, are essential to being successful in this role. Knowledge of working in an education environment would be beneficial.
