University of the Cumberlands seeks a Data and Reporting Analyst to provide stakeholders with appropriate data and analysis to support their academic programs. This position provides direct assistance to the Registrar in support of institutional and programmatic accreditation and reporting needs. The Data and Reporting Analyst reports directly to the Registrar and assists with a variety of data related tasks that fall under the purview of Registration and Records. This position provides high quality customer assistance and senior project leadership on special projects, as directed. The Office of the Registrar is a service-oriented and collaborative team that works with constituencies across the University including students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Specific responsibilities:
Ability to work effectively with complex academic software systems, analyze and interpret data, and prepare usable information and reports for various university constituencies.
Monitors data associated with academic standing; coordinates probation, suspension, and honors lists.
Assists in the daily operations of the organizational unit, ensuring compliance with the University, state, and federal laws, policies, and regulations.
Participates in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.
Develops or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient and safe operation of the unit.
Participate on various University committees and teams
Skillfully gather information, identify and resolve problems in a timely manner as needed to assist students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree
2. At least three years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
3. Strong work ethic with demonstrated collaborative and coordinative skills
4. Excellent communicator in both oral and written communication
5. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree
2. Successful supervisory experience
3. Experience working in a higher education setting
4. Administrative experience
5. Experience in Banner/Ellucian or Workday
