This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated administrator to join the Clinical Liaison Team in the Faculty of Health. The Clinical Liaison Team is responsible for providing comprehensive management and administration of the medical and dental schools' clinical placements. The focus of the team is on clinical provider liaison and engaging with the wider health community. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well organised individual to take up the post of Senior Clinical Liaison Administrator to help support the delivery of our medical (BMBS) curriculum. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of hospital clinical placements and associated academic content for the BMBS programme, including co-ordinating the activities of the Assistant Administrators. You will be expected to liaise with providers from partner organisations about placements and teaching and produce medical student timetables. You will also be responsible for the planning and timetabling of Years 3-5 medical student inductions and clinical teacher staff development training. You will need excellent communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and the motivation for team leadership. You will have excellent IT skills, particularly advanced working knowledge of Excel. The post will be located at the John Bull Building, Plymouth Science Park, Derriford, Plymouth. This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed term basis for up to a year to cover a period of maternity leave.
