Research and Commercialisation Office (within the Research and Innovation Directorate) are looking for an Administrator to join its Innovation Funding team, who will contribute to the provision of an effective and flexible administrative service to support the efficient operation of Research and Commercialisation Office (Research and Innovation). The role will provide specific support for the Innovation Funding Team on Innovation Projects, Public Engagement and community led projects and Knowledge Transfer Projects. You will help with the administration, management and delivery of public engagement activities, community led projects and Knowledge Transfer Partnership Projects. You will have an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular experience of working with spreadsheets, producing diagrams and manipulating data, and, in addition: Numeracy and literacy at secondary education level, GSCE Grades A-C (or demonstrable equivalent experience) Educational attainment at further education level (or demonstrable equivalent experience) Competent at using Collaboration/Sharepoint for document storage Competent user of CRM Use of CMS for updating webpage content Your experience should comprise: working in a customer service environment, office administration in a team environment, financial administration (i.e. raising purchase orders/invoices), and supporting the management and project delivery. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, prioritise your workload and meet deadlines. In addition you will possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to organise complex meetings and minute project meetings, and have a flexible and adaptable approach in a changing work environment.
