We are looking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced Nurse to join our well-established Clinical Skills Team in our Clinical Simulation Facilities to support the clinical development of Adult Nursing at the University. This is an exciting chance to be part of a progressive and cutting-edge University in a beautiful location, where you can really make a difference. The role entails small group teaching in the clinical skills facility across all year groups in the pre-registration nursing curriculum. This includes the innovative Simulated Practice Placements which are delivered each summer. The School offers further support for student career and professional development in the areas of healthcare, surgical care practice, emergency care and general practice nursing. An interdisciplinary approach to research covers sustainability, the evolution of services, use of new genetic knowledge and technologies, the ageing population, use of internet and mobile technologies, changes in clinical education, contemporary nursing, and how knowledge is translated into practice and policy.
