: SAC is a growing nonprofit program located in the Midlands of South Carolina and affiliated with the UofSC School of Music. Lessons and group classes are offered weekly during the school year. We are seeking violin and guitar teachers to accommodate growth, and hope to add piano in the future.
Duties
: Teach weekly private lessons and group classes, attend and lead student performances, collaborate and meet regularly with faculty, possible chamber music coaching
Qualifications
: Violin/Viola Position: Master’s degree in performance or pedagogy and registered SAA teacher training through book 4
Piano & Guitar Positions: Bachelor’s degree in performance or pedagogy and registered SAA teacher training through book 1
Commitment to the Suzuki philosophy and ongoing training
Salary
: Hourly wage is commensurate with experience; stipend for continuing education available
