The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology (WCBT) is AACSB accredited, and enrolls over 2,000 students. Job Description:
The Department of Economics & Finance
at the Jack Welch College of Business & Technology (WCBT)
invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor in Economics beginning Fall 2023
. Candidates with an interest in teaching introductory econometrics will be preferred as primary responsibilities will be instruction of principle of economics courses. A solid background in economics and statistics is required. Successful candidates are expected to participate in department, school, and university-level meetings and services. The teaching load is 4 courses per semester.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in economics completed by August 15, 2023.
Candidates with an MS degree, who have extensive teaching experience, will also be considered.
A solid background in economics and statistics is required.
The department is seeking an energetic and prolific teacher who can engage students in the active learning of economics.
