Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Graduate Early Childhood Art Education Intern to assist in the planning and implementation of art education programs for Summer Explore, a four-week summer support program for rising kindergarten and first-grade students to support school readiness. The successful candidate will work closely with our early education team to support the development of educational content, create engaging curriculum and activities, and help facilitate and evaluate a summer art education program. This is a part-time internship position that offers hands-on experience in the field of early childhood art education.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs and curriculum for rising kindergarten and first-grade students.
Work with the education team to create engaging and interactive art experiences for students.
Assist in the development of materials, including lesson plans and activities.
Participate in the facilitation of art education programs, including classroom instruction and hands-on activities.
Assist in the assessment and evaluation of the program.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Assist with administrative tasks related to education programs.
Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program in art education, museum education, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of art education principles.
Experience in teaching or facilitating art programs is preferred.
Must be available to work flexible hours.

$35 per hour worked / Maximum of 60 total work hours
