Job Qualification

Candidates must hold a continuing

NC Middle Grades Education licensure (Math)

Master’s degree or

National Board Certification preferred.

Minimum of five years teaching experience.

Help teachers develop a classroom management plan

Help promote PBIS within the school

Devise strategies that will help tier II and III students be successful in class

Investigate and resolve discipline problems in

a fair and just manner

Investigate student complaints and grievances.

Re-enter students upon completion of

out-of-school suspensions, facilitate student/teacher reentry meetings, and

provide Peer Mediation to resolve student conflicts

Maintain disciplinary records required by

policy, regulation, law or good practice

Communicate discipline consequences with

students and parents
