Profile

Burlington High School is seeking a Peer Tutor/Teacher Helper Coordinator for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year and beyond.

Some of the primary duties of a Peer Tutor / Teacher Helper Coordinator include the following:

Collect a list of the students interested in becoming Peer Tutors / Teacher Helpers and collect a list of the teachers in need of Peer Tutors / Teacher helpers.

Organizing and holding several orientations, facilitating tutor training sessions, and signing students for the program by matching students with teachers.

Supervise assigned Peer Tutors as they are working with their peers.

Conduct Peer Tutor Teacher helper observations and check in with different teachers.

Update tutoring material as needed and make changes.

Check in with teachers regarding attendance, participation, grades, and credits.

Communicate with the guidance department and data entry point person on creating a Peer Tutor section in Power school for attendance purposes.
