Job Description:
Job Summary:
The CityU Enactus team is looking for a student assistant who wants to gain experience working with agile and collaborative teams, receive training in entrepreneurship, and work with community and corporate partners. If you are a self-starter and project management competent, you will have a great opportunity learning advanced concepts and skills through this position. If you are seeking to help your community and gain experience in a high demand specialty that will significantly enhance your resume, while also earning income, this is the job for you. We have a community grant to fund this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Enactus Faculty Advisor and the Enactus project leader on the CleanUp project.
Check in every morning and evening with the CleanUp crew regarding work documentation and timesheets.
Keep track of the expenses and maintain project budget.
Keep inventory of project materials.
Maintain the work schedule and map of needed activities.
Other duties assigned by project leader.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be CityU students major in BS or MS degrees. Taking no more than six credits per quarter is highly suggested.
Ability to show a solid understanding of project management concepts.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and organizational and problem-solving ability.
Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision, effectively prioritize work, multi-task and adjust to changing workloads and deadlines.
Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to handle MS Office products, including Outlook and advanced functions of Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
Ability to speak effectively before the project crew and community leaders.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, stoop or bend, talk, reach, use repetitive motion of hands/wrists, sit, grasp or handle, hear, feel, and walk.
The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed outdoors.
Salary information:
This is a part-time (19.5 hours per week) student position. This position pays minimum wage $17.27/ hour plus 100% tuition credit for 1 class per quarter.
On-campus requirement:
International students on F1 visas must come to the Seattle campus for a full day once a week and domestic students once per quarter. Students must go to the Belltown area twice a day, in the morning and in late afternoon.
