Position Description:
Serve as Administrative support for the School of Dentistry. Responsibilities to include excellent patient customer service, billing / insurance questions and / or verifications, supporting staff / faculty for departmental needs. Perform other business functions for the School of Dentistry as required. This position will float to several areas of the dentistry practice, must be adaptable to changing work environments. One specific work area will be supporting the Oral Pathology Laboratory and faculty as detailed below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as an ambassador or 'face' of the department with excellent customer service skills and a team player. Ability to manage highly confidential information. Experience working in a fast - paced environment. Assist staff / faculty with departmental needs as necessary. Attention to detail and ability to problem solve independently.
Oral Pathology Laboratory support requires processing daily biopsy specimens, typing biopsy reports from written or dictated materials, maintaining biopsy service computer system, communicating with biopsy service contributors regarding biopsy diagnoses, and coordinating courier services. Oral pathology faculty support includes preparation of course materials, examinations, calculations and recording of course grades.
Target Compensation Maximum:
$24.97
Target Compensation Minimum:
$14.72
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
