Job Goal:

The Afterschool Snack Program Coordinator is responsible for the distribution and service of nutritious snacks to high school students.

Qualifications:

High School diploma

Knowledge of Food Safety preferred

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Department of Food and Nutrition Services, assists by the program by:

Picking up snacks from the Somerville High School kitchen

Serving snacks to students

Tallying the total amount of snacks distributed to students each day

At the end of the month provide the SHS kitchen with the snack menu containing the total number of snacks distributed

Able to organize, manage, coordinate, implement and oversee snack program

Able to maintain records

Prepare clear, concise and comprehensive reports

Excise sound and independent judgement within general policy guidelines

Establish and maintain working relationships with other staff

Position Reports to:

Principal of Somerville High School and Director of Food & Nutrition Services

Terms of Employment:

Yearly Appointment

Scheduled school year (September 2022 – June 2023)

Salary: $17 per hour / Up to 10 hours per week
