Job Description:
The Global Studies Department at Assumption University in Worcester, MA seeks to hire an anthropology instructor to teach one section of ANT 131: Cultural Anthropology during the Fall 2023 semester. The semester runs from August 28 to December 13 (inclusive of finals period).
This course is scheduled to be taught in person, once a week on Wednesday from 2:30 to 5pm and currently has 14 students enrolled, with a cap of 30.
Adjunct instructors are welcomed members of the department, and are provided with office space, email, voicemail, and support and resources needed for quality teaching. Successful candidates may have the possibility of teaching additional courses in subsequent semesters.

Requirements:
Applicants with a PhD in Anthropology are preferred. ABD doctoral candidates will also be considered, with experience teaching at the college level preferred.
